This vintage-inspired lace-trim knit sweater in heathered gray slides over your head and settles into a soft, warm embrace. Scalloped white lace edges the crew neckline, travels down the button placket, and returns at the cuffs and hem, so the detail registers the moment you turn toward the mirror. The core-spun yarn carries real substance in the hand yet drapes gently across the chest and shoulders, and the relaxed cut skims past the waist instead of clinging to it. Heathered gray softens the light around your face and pairs back to nearly everything already in your closet. You feel the cozy looped texture against bare skin, then forget about it by mid-morning, which is exactly what you want from a layer you reach for on repeat.
How to Style This Lace-Trim Sweater
For a weekend brunch or a gallery afternoon, tuck the front hem loosely into straight-leg dark denim and finish with ankle boots and small gold hoops. The lace at the cuff catches the light as you move, and the longer line over the hip keeps the whole outfit easy and put-together.
For a casual office day, wear it untucked over a fluid midi skirt or wide-leg trousers, add low loafers and a slim leather belt at the natural waist, then layer a fine gold chain just above the lace collar. The pullover shape reads clean enough for meetings and comfortable enough for the commute home.
This sweater works hard across your week. It layers under a wool coat without bulk, wears alone on mild afternoons, and needs nothing more than one considered accessory to look finished. The lace trim gives it a signature that people notice in passing, so you look considered rather than overstyled.
Key Features
- Fibre: 50% Viscose, 25% Nylon, 25% Polyester — a silky-soft viscose blend that feels smooth against skin and resists clinging.
- Cut & Fit: Relaxed, loose fit through the body with a high-hip length of 59–63 cm that balances your proportions without hiding your shape.
- Neckline: Crew neck with a soft ribbed edge that sits flat and never digs into the collarbone.
- Details: Scalloped white lace trims the neckline, placket, cuffs and hem, with small round buttons running down the front for a hand-finished look.
- Durability: Core-spun knitting reinforces the yarn so cuffs, hem and neckline keep their line through repeated wear and washing.
- Colour Range: Six wearable shades — Gray, Khaki, Navy Blue, Pink, Blue and Coffee Brown — so you can build a small rotation around one reliable fit.
- Care: Hand wash cold or use a delicate cycle in a mesh bag, then lay flat to dry to protect the lace trim and hold the knit’s shape.

Fit Advice: This piece runs true to size with a deliberately relaxed cut. Order your usual size for an easy, roomy layer over a tee, or size down once if you prefer the knit to sit closer to the body. The high-hip length keeps it balanced over both jeans and skirts, and the roomy sleeve leaves space for a thin long-sleeve underneath.
Lace-Trim Sweater FAQ
Does the knit feel itchy against skin? No. The viscose-rich blend gives the yarn a smooth, soft hand, and the crew neckline sits flat rather than scratching at the throat — most people wear it over a camisole or on its own.
Is the sweater see-through? The mid-weight knit is opaque in the solid panels. The visible contrast comes from the white lace trim, not the body of the sweater.
How do I keep the lace from curling or fraying? Wash cold on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag, skip the dryer, and lay the sweater flat to dry. The lace holds its scalloped edge and the knit keeps its shape this way.

Shipping FAQs
Q: What does "Business Day" refer to for shipping delivery time estimates?
A: When estimating your order's arrival date, please do not include weekends and holidays.
Q: Can all items be shipped via Express service?
A: No. Some bulky or oversized items, cut-to-order fabrics or hazardous materials cannot be shipped via Express service. We will be happy to ship these items standard delivery. If you have items in your cart that require Express shipping, please enter a separate order.
Q: Do you ship to post office boxes?
A: Only orders shipping from our warehouse can ship to P.O. boxes and will be delivered within the United States by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Orders shipping directly from our manufacturers cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.
Q: Do you ship to rural route numbers?
A: Yes, standard shipping only.
Q: Can I send items to multiple addresses with the same order?
A: Not at this time. To ship items to different addresses, please enter separate orders for each address.
Q: Where is my Backorder?
A: At this time Takalr does not accept backorders. If an item is out of stock at the time of fulfillment we will ship the balance of your order and adjust your order total including shipping. In some cases, when your item is shipping directly from the manufacturer, we may notify you of a delay and hold your order until the manufacturer can ship it.
Q: Why was an item on my order canceled and will I be charged?
A: While we do our best to fulfill all of our orders, occasionally we have to cancel an item on an order due to availability. You will receive a separate email letting you know about this cancellation and your credit card will not be charged. When originally placing the order, we placed an authorization on your credit card or PayPal account which allows takalr.com to make sure the account is valid and has the necessary funds available to process your order. An authorization is a pending charge or hold on a payment account and is not a true charge. Your payment method will not be charged if we did not ship your order. The release of an authorization may also appear as a refund on a credit card statement, or the authorization may be deleted from the account entirely. The void may take 7 business days (or longer, depending on your bank) to appear.
Q: Why did my order come in multiple boxes or from multiple carriers?
A: We may ship your order to you in multiple boxes or via multiple carriers due to:
- The order size — large orders often are split into multiple boxes for more efficient delivery.
- The item's size — some items required special handling and packaging and thus a separate box.
- The item's source — some items will come to you directly.
